MEXT scholarships

One of the most prestigious scholarships in Japan, promoted by the embassy and consulate in the region.
The MEXT scholarship provides round-trip airfare to Japan, exemption from school fees, and monthly stipends ranging from $1,100 to $1,400.

The JSPS (Japan Society for Promotion of Science) offers a postdoctoral research fellowship for researchers with strong academic backgrounds.
